The Tree Ring Pen is a unique and expertly crafted writing instrument. It is comfortable to hold and to write with. I am a pen collector and I have several hand made pens but the Tree Ring Pen is my favorite. When writing with this pen, you feel as though you are holding history in your hand. My pen dates from 1910-2010 and as does every Tree Ring pen you order, it is accompanied by a laminated card entitled Stories From The Tree Rings. The other side of the card explains the restoration of the forests from which the tree originated. It also comes with a wooden display case. The magnetic cap is another plus. It 'snaps' on to either end of the pen. It takes a standard ceramic rollerball refill available at office supply stores.
